Obituary of Matthew John Askett

Askett, Matthew John - Passed away on Friday Feb. 24, 2017 after a very short time frame of being diagnosed with cancer. Matthew was 47 years young and if you asked him he would say he was just getting started! He will be dearly missed by his girlfriend Sandra (Sally) Ireland & her grandchildren Keshia and Shailyn. His brother Paul, Gloria & kids Jesse, Chyanne, Andrea, Michael. His other two brothers Christopher, Murray, and his mother Esther. His good friend and roommate Dave. His extended family Peter, Joely, Norm, Asia & Jeremy Neufeld. Chad, Daryll, friends & associates @ Kal-tire. And all others that knew him. We will be having an open ceremony in the chapel located at Woodland Cemetery (493 Springbank Drive, London, ON) on Saturday, March 4 from 12pm-2pm. There will be visitation from noon until 1pm. At 1pm. there will be a memorial service and celebration of Matthews life. We invite all to come up and share a story or experience involving Matthew. From 2pm-5pm we will be moving to A.N.A.F. 229 Legion located at 38 Adelaide St. North, London for a "celebration of life" social. And for those who want to continue afterwards we will be meeting at the Silver Spur bar & grill located at 771 Southdale Rd. E, London.
