Obituary of Richard William Walker

Richard William Walker, in his 73rd year, went peacefully to be with the Lord, at home, on Sunday, November 26, following a courageous battle with cancer. His faith remained steady and strong. He was surrounded and supported by deep love of family.

He was a man with great passion, amazing Sales talent from his youth. One of his many accomplishments includes building the Golden Gate Margarine business with his business partner. Richard will always be remembered in our hearts.

Beloved husband of Hendrika "Rita". Loved father of Tawnya Baldwin (Sean); Hilary Younker (Todd); Erin Dickinson (Adam). Loved step-father of Jennifer Taylor (Craig); Danica Grosscurt (Gerald).

Loved oldest brother to 4 siblings; Barry Walker (Wendy); Bonnie Henderson (Gerry); Cheryl Power; Cathy VonHausen (Cliff).

Caring grandfather to 20 grandchildren. Caring great grandfather to 8.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 9 at Royal View Pentecostal Church; Visitation 10-10:30; Memorial Service at 10:30; light lunch to follow.
