Rita, my thoughts for you are lifted before God, may His strength and comfort cover you and your family.
Decades ago when we attended the same church, and we didn’t know each other. I would come alone and look around at the happy couples who loved God together, that is when I would see you and Rick together, and I always saw such a beautiful spirited couple together in the light of our Lord.
Now that we are both widows, I can’t imagine the grief you are feeling of your equal half passing first.
But just know you hold something very precious, you hold the many loving memories of a very special soul, you got to be his helpmate in this life, so you can be together in the life we get to live with Christ.
The strength Rick was in this life, is still with you in memory so you can continue to be both your lights for your family and friends, for they will see him, when they see you.
