Obituary of Alfred John Powell

It is with broken hearts and deep sadness that we say goodbye to a beautiful, kind, gentleman Alfred John Powell (Peck). He left us on April 28, 2022 peacefully while sleeping in his favourite chair. He was in his 70th year.
Al was the attentive and devoted husband to Judy Warner Powell for 30 + wonderful years.
Al is survived by his wife Judy, son Adam Powell (Veronica), grandchildren Maverick, Vienna and Maxim and his daughter Amanda Powell. He will be fondly remembered by his children's mother Margaret Ladner (Gord). He also leaves behind his step-children who he treated as his own, stepson Stephen Gibbs (Jaime) and their daughter Marley and his step daughter Laurie Murphy (Mark) and their children Killian and Declan. Al loved all his family and was proud of all of them. Survived by his sister Gloria Palmer (Peter). He is remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and long time golfing buddies.
Al was a long time employee of Kellogg Canada retiring after 36 years.
Al and Judy spent 14 fun filled winters at their second home in Clearwater Florida.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, May 10 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Victory Branch - 311 Oakland Ave, London, Ontario from 2pm - 5pm
Donations in Al's memory may be made to the Heart and Stoke foundation or a charity of your choice.
