I first met Ray when my wife and I started attending Byron United Church in the mid 1980's. Ray was always interested in others, what was going on in their lives, how they and their family was doing. Ray was one of the most interesting people I've met, such wonderful stories from all around the world. He lived out his Christian faith in very tangible and practical ways. My heart goes out to Sue and the family. May Psalm 46 bring hope and encouragement to them in this season of grief. Well done, good and faithful servant!

I was a former student of Ray's at Fanshawe in the early 80s but my most recent interaction with him was 2018 when my daughter and I took Italian through the City if London Spectrum program. His passion for life and knowledge are what I will remember about him. My condolences to his family.

Hey Phil. Just would like to extend my heartfelt condolences on Ray's passing. Of course I remember him from our younger days on Jellicoe, but he also taught my economics class at Western. He was a good man.
