Robert "Barry" Herbert
After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Robert "Barry" Herbert, 76, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side. Loving partner to Barbara (Munro) of over 52 years. Beloved father to John and grandfather to Chloe. Predeceased by his daughter Julia and his brother Bill.
Barry loved golf, dogs, cars, and time spent with his small but loving family. He also enjoyed the lifetime friends he made during his career at Vanderwesten & Rutherford Associates. He was admired by all who knew him.
A special thanks to Barry’s team of doctors and nurses for all of their care as well as the kindness of good friends and neighbours.
A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
