Obituary of John McLaren Sanders

John McLaren Sanders passed away on October 28, 2016 in his 83rd year surrounded by his family. He will be remembered as a generous, loyal, and humorous man. Born and raised in Tillsonburg, Ontario to Matilda and Joy Sanders, predeceased by his brothers Richard and William, survived by his sister Wanda Bell. He was a farm boy, meat buyer and butcher, a real estate broker, and a proud Canadian. Every child in the neighbourhood knew they could come to him for a bike, a tune-up, and lessons. Loving husband to Ruth Forbes Sanders for 58 years, wonderful father to Jennifer Wemyss (Michael), Joy-Anne Barber (Don), and Jackie Sauer (Harold). Loving Grandfather to Jonathyn (Tammy), Brittany (Matt), Randall (Larissa), Jessyca, Jarrett, Victoria (Adrian), Emily, and Reid, and thrilled to be a great grandfather to Isabella. We know you are off riding your bike through a beautiful park while hunting for garage sale treasures. We love you, and we will miss you always xo There will be a Celebration of Life held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Springbank Gardens Community Centre from 6-9pm.
