Obituary of Gail Cowell

Passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas General Hospital, on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in her 80th year. She was predeceased by her husband Don Cowell and daughter Brenda Yorke (Cowell). Dear Mother of Richard (Maggie) Cowell.              She will be sadly missed by brothers Ron (Barb) Cartwright, Bruce (Bill) Cartwright-Pengelly and Son In-law Gary Yorke. She will be forever missed by her Grandchildren Nancy (Rob) Nowakowski, Melissa (Matt) Jamieson, Jennifer (Bob) Woolley, Rachel (Anthony) Gladkowski, Elizabeth Cowell, Donny Yorke and Aaron (Cara) Cowell, as well as many Great Grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at the Sons of Scotland Park on August 29, 2020 from 1pm to 4pm. As Gail had a passion for sewing and quilting, we will be proudly displaying some of her many quilts at her celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, please donate on Gail’s behalf to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
