Obituary of Marie June Burkart

The passing of Marie “June” (Massey) Burkart happened peacefully on December 21st, 2019 at St. Josephs Mount Hope Nursing home with her beloved husband Hans at her side. June was born November 23rd, 1944, in Blackpool England. June was a loving mother and is survived by her 4 children Cynthia, Tanya, Peter and John, her 8 grandchildren and her 6 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by one grandchild. June had an amazing sense of humour and loved life and laughter. She was an avid genealogist and she enjoyed listening to music, cooking, crocheting, needlepoint and spending time with friends and family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 28th, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 615 Baseline Rd E, London Ontario at 11am. For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of London and Middlesex.
