Obituary of John William Reed
REED, John William, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 in his 82nd year in London, Ontario. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Griffin) Reed, of 60 years. Loving father of Bruce (Lisa), Jacquie (Kevin), Bob and David (Iwona). Proud Grandpa of ten grandchildren. Brother of Carol (nee Reed) Szabo. Predeceased by parents John William and Bernice E.
John enjoyed his career at Clarkson, Gordon, Ernst & Young for 35 years, retiring at age 52. His love of travelling, philately (stamp collecting), history and most of all his family and friends gave him great joy.
Cremation has taken place. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held on Saturday, September 7th, 2019 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Anglican Church, 489 Pinetree Dr., London, ON at 11:00 a.m.
