Obituary of Gail McLennan

Gail McLennan (nee Millson) of Mossley, Ontario, passed away peacefully on June 8th, 2019 at the age of 69 at LHSC after a lengthy illness which she battled courageously. 

Born in Ingersoll, Ontario March 1, 1950. Beloved daughter of her late parents George and Betty Millson. Cherished wife of Gerry McLennan. Most adored mother of son Paul (Melissa) and daughter Linda (Andrew). Survived by dear brother Ron (Frances). Beloved grandmother to Matthew, Ashley, Kyle, Skylar and Ocean and great grandmother to Gracie. Loving sister in law to Robert McLennan,  Gail Martelle and Chris Millson. Predeceased by brothers Paul, Stanley, Larry and Wayne. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Gail developed many dear friendships in her community, as well as during her winter stays in Florida with her husband. She enjoyed swimming and always looked forward to meeting up with her "swim girls" in Tillsonburg. Always smiling and full of life, she was an intensely loving mother and wife and a loyal, generous friend. The family would like to thank all of her friends who have supported her and us throughout this journey, your support proves the extraordinary impact she had on everyone.

The family of Gail would like to thank the staff at LHSC, especially the ICU team for all of their compassion and care.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Gail may donate to the charity of their choice.
