i’ve been thinking about you a lot lately, nana. i miss all the laughs and smiles we shared together and being able to talk to you about anything. my heart hurts now that your gone but i will forever have a special place in there for you, i'm just glad you’re at peace and not in pain. life has been difficult without you and i’m really trying, i just want you to be proud of me. i still sleep with the blankets you made for me when i was born, i always keep you close. i love you so much nana

Our condolences to Andy and the girls. And to all my siblings in the loss of our sister. I have very fond memories of all eight kids growing up on the farm. Work and play always took place. My comfort and I hope Andy and girls can take comfort in knowing Effie is with our parents Jake and Kay Hovius and our sister Sadie Hovius. They are together again. And Effie is free of pain. We love you all.
