Dear Jack and family: So very saddened to learn of Shirley's passing via an email from Joan MacIntyre this morning. Meeting Shirley and 'The Saint' was the highlight of our trip to Portugal in 2000. Remaining friends via emails and your visit a few years later has been a blessing to us. I love the photo of Shirley on this page. She aged as gracefully as she was graceful. Such a beautiful soul. Dave and I send along our deepest sympathies from us as well as John and Carol Newman from PEI. Shirley will be missed as deeply as she was loved. Jack, Marg. Wendy, Peter and extended family. Our deepest sympathies for your loss. "What a woman" doesn't come close to describing who she was. I'll miss tormenting her and her Toronto Make-beliefs.
