Obituary of Lee Elizabeth Thwaites

Passed away peacefully at University Hospital, in London Ontario at the age of 66. She was surrounded by her family who fought alongside her, as she fought a short battle with a pre-existing illness. She is survived by her children Jenny (Darryl) Henry, Terrance (Christine) Thwaites, Stephanie (Brendan) Bourque and John Thwaites. Beloved Nana/Grandma/Gram Grams to grandchildren Austin, Justin, Anthony, Lynx, Emerson, Rowan, Lennon, and Éowyn. Lee is predeceased by her husband Terry Thwaites and parents Robert and Annie Findlay. She will be missed dearly by her many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. 

The amount of unconditional love, kindness and support that surrounds her family is a true testament to the kind of people that both  Lee and Terry were. You fight, we fight. 

The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at University Hospital, for their countless efforts, understanding, patience and support. 

The Lord replied,

"My child, I would never leave you.

During your times of trial, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Creamation at Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Dr, London, ON N6J 1H3 with an interment to follow on January 17, 2025 at 1 pm. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
