Obituary of Gloria Jean Bowden

Gloria Jean Bowden (Berwick) passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario, on September 22, 2024. Gloria will be lovingly remembered and extremely missed by her husband Bernie (Bear), her daughter and best friend Nicole Ginn (John), and her son Jamie More (Kim), along with her grandchildren Mackenzie Ginn, John Thomas Ginn, Kenny More (Kaitlyn, Laine, Lawson), and Jarek More (Ashley, Kessel). Gloria will be fondly remembered by her bonus children Brandon Smith (Dana) and Candace Smith, and her father-in-law Gordon Bowden.

Gloria will also be missed by her siblings Robert (Diane) Berwick, Jean Mitchell, Rick Berwick (Jean), Gladys Koper (Squirt). Survived by many nephews and nieces.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents Albert and Evelyn Berwick, sister Bettey Williams and brother-in-law Allan, brother-in-law Jim Mitchell (Jean), brother-in-law Dan Koper (Gladys), brother Butch and sister-in-law Diana Berwick and her mother-in-law Beverly Bowden.

The family would like to thank the staff at Victoria Hospital’s Respirology Unit for caring for Gloria in her final days and ensuring her peaceful passing.

Information regarding a celebration of Gloria’s life will be provided at a later date.
