Obituary of Anne Elizabeth Stieglitz

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Anne Elizabeth Stieglitz (previously Hayman, Hagarty) in her 80^th year. Anne passed away at University Hospital, London, Ontario, on August 21, 2024. Anne was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Edith (nee Wilson) Hayman and her brother Jonathan. She is survived by her daughter Julie Stieglitz, her sister Janet (Alan) Fairweather and her niece and two nephews and their families, as well as several cousins.

Anne was a lifelong native of London, Ontario. She had several different careers including in the London Life actuarial department, where she put her mathematic skills to good use, the London Board of Education as an elementary school teacher and in the travel industry as a travel agent. She loved to travel and went to six of seven continents. In her later years she enjoyed many activities at the Kiwanis Seniors Centre.

Per Anne’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. In memory of Anne donations may be made to the London Food Bank, The Salvation Army Centre of Hope London, or a charity of your choice.
