Obituary of William James McDowell

Peacefully and surrounded by family William "Bill" James McDowell passed away on July 25, 2024 at the age of 74. A fun and loving soul who was always ready for a good joke, he will forever be missed by his sister Kathy, nieces, nephews, and many more family and friends that were fortunate enough to know him. At last reunited with his beloved wife Kathy, Bill is also predeceased by his parents, William and Evelyn, sisters Pat and Betty, mother-in-law Velma and brother-in-law Kevin.

Bill exhibited his passion for food, animals, cars and music daily with his powerful personality and always made those around him feel loved and included in everything he did. 

The family is so grateful to the wonderful staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Victoria Hospital for making him feel both comfortable and well cared for. In memory of Bill please consider making a donation to S.C.A.A.R. (Second Chance Auction Animals Rescue) or one of your favourite charities.
