I only found out recently about the death of Ken through another tenant in my apartment building. Ken, at one time, had been the owner of, and landlord of, my previous, and also my current building. I had no idea of his death because of a brain tumour. I was totally shocked. Ken was such a giving and caring man. He would speak fondly of Sheila and their children. I still remember, as does my husband, how Ken carried my husband to get help after my husband had shattered his ankle and other bones in his right leg. Neither of us will ever forget that incredible act of kindness. I send my heartfelt condolences to Sheila, their children, and all of his loved ones. May he rest in peace. In Ken's memory, as suggested, I am going to make a donation to the Brain Tumour Foundation.

Dear Sheila and family
Ken was an amazing caring and thoughtful man. My heart is full of gratitude for the privilege of knowing him. It was a blessing to have your family as neighbors for many years. Ken was always willing to help in whatever way he could. Nothing was too much for him.
I also enjoyed his company and our many conversations especially in the last few years. I will miss him.
He was blessed to have all of you share his journey. You were all amazing and he expressed his gratitude for all your support.
Love you.

Sheila, my thoughts are with you and the boys at this incredibly difficult time. I know my Mom really enjoyed her chats with Ken whenever you guys were staying with her, and of course the help he gave her (with anything and everything around the house) was so very much appreciated. I hope that Ken is now free from pain and enjoying the greatest of the great outdoors.
