MCLENNAN, Ada “Marie” (nee Taylor)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ada “Marie” McLennan (nee Taylor) of London Ontario, Sunday April 14/24 in her 89th year. Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband William McLennan (2019). Leaving behind John McLennan (step-son), wife Angel and 2 adored granddaughters Emma and Kaley. Marie was one of 7 children to Jack and Ada Taylor, was predeceased by her 5 brothers and sister, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Loving aunt to 21 nieces and nephews.
Marie enjoyed the adventure of traveling but always called London home. She dedicated most of her 35 year career teaching Kindergarten at Lord Elgin Elementary School. Her passion was dancing and she spent over 60 years teaching and performing Scottish Country Dancing.
A celebration of Life for Family and friends will be held at the Hamilton Road Seniors Community Centre - 525 Hamilton Road, London ON, Sunday April 28 from 2:30 to 4:30pm. Donations in her honour can be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
