Obituary of Beau Williams

Peacefully at the Victoria Hospital – LHSC on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in his 71st year.

Beloved husband of Cheryl Halliday. Loving father of Chance Pinkney and caring grandfather of Mariah, Makeem and Marcelis Sanders.

Survived by his brothers and sisters: Joey, Percy, Freeman, Rosie, Lena, Mary and Helen.

Beau was an accomplished musician who played with a few different bands. He had his own company and was well known for his renovations and landscaping skills. He was called a gentle giant by many, and he loved animals.

He also was a direct descendant of Africville; which was part of Halifax, Nova Scotia until it was torn down by the city in the 1960's. He also frequently spoke at Fanshawe College during Black History month about Africville and his experiences there.

In keeping with Beau's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life service will be planned for a future date.
