Obituary of Roma Christina Klym

Peacefully passed away on December 28th, in her 91st year, surrounded by her loving family.  Roma will be greatly missed by all who loved her including:  devoted husband of 68 years, Edward Lloyd Klym; son Bill Klym (Debb); daughter Lisa Pettit (Craig); grandchildren Nathan Klym (Kendra), Kaela Clark (Scott), and Kyle Petit (Alex); and great grandchildren Reed and Tegan Clark.  

Roma is predeceased by her sisters Hazel Chitty (Bill), Glenna Kurliak (Jim) and brothers Morris Nicholson (Peggy) and Lorne Nicholson (Gloria).   Dearly missed by her sister-in-law Jennie Westcott and brother-in-law Wally Klym and many nieces and nephews, especially nephew Brad Chitty and wife Carli who have always been very close to both Roma and Ed. 

Roma will forever be remembered for her quick wit, abundant love of family and her strong faith.  She was an avid gardener, baker and chef, a master bridge player and a lover of all card games especially a competitive round of Shanghai Rummy with family members.

The family would like to thank the London Palliative Care Team and the staff of Chartwell Riverside Residence for all their help and support.

A private family celebration will be held at a later date to honour her and reflect on the years of wonderful memories.    In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
