Obituary of Bruce Cook

Cook – Bruce, at Victoria Hospital on December 17^th, 2023 in his 84^th year. His wife Catherine, niece Carolyn and friend Lori were with him.

He was predeceased by his parents Esther and Murray Cook and his brothers Cameron Murray (1951) and James David (2011). He is survived by his brother Christopher Matthew Cook and his wife Gail of Perth Ont., several nieces and nephews, goddaughter Jackie and godson Chris.

Thank you to Carolyn and Lori for their support, to Bruce’s brother Chris and nephew Jim for their hospital visits, to our much appreciated, caring friends and neighbours, and to 5^th floor nurse Donna who made a 61^st Wedding Anniversary at a difficult time a special memory.

Bruce often said his life has been wonderful and full of so many good memories he and Cathy could share from the time they met in Public School. They also shared the enjoyment of time with family and friends, music, art, gardening, travel, photography and walking throughout their marriage.

Bruce requested there be no funeral. Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred in Woodland Cemetery in the Spring.
