Obituary of Barbara Joan Longhurst
Barbara Joan Longhurst passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1st, 2023 at 78 years of age surrounded by family.
Barb was the daughter of Sid and Betty Longhurst and sister to Cathy, Linda, and Gary. She was the loving mother of Christopher, Scott, and Shelly as well as "the best" grandma to Roshan Christopher. She was also the devoted dog-mom to Taz, Jaz, Chapter, Lou, and Pete.
Mom lived a full and interesting life. She was an ER nurse, a missionary on the island of Bonaire, an award-winning radio host, and a published poet.
"Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, December 17th from 1-4pm at 597 Cranbrook Rd, London-Room #55 (Community Room).
