1957-2023
It is with heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Julio Fontes Carvalho on Friday November 24th, 2023, at the age of 66 years old. He was born on June 9th, 1957, in Povoa de Varzim, Portugal. He is survived by his loving wife Maria Carvalho; children Julio Carvalho Jr and Kristan Carvalho; Loving parents Julio Corceiro Carvalho and Maria Pedrosa Carvalho; sisters Isabel, Lourdes, Carla, the late Anna Maria (Nita) and brother Bruno Carvalho. Three grandchildren; Grayson, Celina and Brianna Carvalho. Along with the many family members both distant and close.
Julio grew up in Portugal and started his autobody career at a very young age in Angola, Africa where he would always mention his pet monkey. Eventually moving to Canada and starting his family.
Julio was a man of few words who showed great admiration for his family in a special way, especially towards his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching all different types of movie genres, his favorites were nature documentaries. He also enjoyed tinkering with different types of antique watches and cameras.
Julio’s presence will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. Rest in peace.

There will be no funeral as per Julio's wishes, but a burial service at Woodland Cemetery in London, Ontario at 2:30pm on Friday, December 1st.
The service will be outside so dress appropriately.
