Obituary of Carol Ann Christie

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Christie (nee Clark) of London, Ontario, aged 71. Carol passed away at Victoria Hospital on August 18th, 2023, with her sons by her side. Predeceased by her parents Ross and Mary (nee Jenne) Clark, Carol leaves behind her beloved sons Jason (Rainer) Flannery and Adam (Alexandra) Christie. She will be dearly missed by her pride and joy, her granddaughters Eva and Alilya Christie. Carol will also be greatly missed by her sister Gloria, and by her nephews Dan and Lyle Wettlaufer. Carol was a woman of many travels and adventures, was a devoted friend to many, and had a talent for art in many forms. Much like her final painting, a beautiful self portrait, her story goes unfinished. While her third and final battle with cancer was brief, Carol fought with strength and courage while remaining the picture of dignity and grace. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, August 25th from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm in the Reception Building of the A. Millard George Funeral Home located at 60 Ridout Street South, London. Her art will be displayed, light refreshments will be served, and we welcome all to join us in celebrating a woman who was cherished by many and who will truly be missed by all those who knew her.
