I was very sad to hear about Phillip's passing. I still remember our conversations during our family gatherings about life, school, careers and more, and he was very gracious with his wisdom and encouragement. I always tried to take his words to heart, and I will keep those memories close to me. I also greatly appreciate his presence in Lillian's upbringing from the beginning all the way to the present day. I am very grateful I got one last chance to see him this Canada day. I hope his memory and spirit will continue to live strongly through his family.
