Obituary of Sharon Anne Landry
Sharon Landry (nee Hachey) passed away on April 4th, 2023 at the age of 75 following a heroic 6-year journey with cancer.
Sharon, aka Mom, Mère, Sibling, and Auntie was born, and raised in St. Catharines Ontario. Daughter of late Frank and Lilian Hachey (nee Mullen). Sharon graduated from nursing school, married David Landry and found her roots in London Ontario where she raised her family. Sharon was a mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, nurse, banker, businesswoman, entrepreneur, mentor and a dear friend to many. As captain of various sports teams, Rotarian, the heart of Wortley village, and Masonville Manor council member, Sharon had a passion for bringing people together and supporting communities. Sharon had a contagious “Joie de vivre” and endless love to give and as a close friend recently said, “Sharon always grows where she is planted” and that she did. Sharon is survived by her strong and dedicated daughters Jody and Kim; “the best” sons in law, Ray and Nik; very special grandchildren, Audrey, Ryan, Owen, and Zoe; brothers and sisters Chris and Cheryl, Denise and Joe, Bill and Loralie, and Marilyn; nieces, nephews and their families; Nadia, Leah, Adam, Eric, Meaghan, Matt, Stephanie and Evan; grand doggies Max, Chewbacca, and Indiana. She is forever in our hearts ❤️ A scattering of ashes in the spring garden at Woodland cemetery and celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the London Regional Cancer Clinic https://www.lhsc.on.ca/london-regional-cancer-program/donate-now
