Obituary of William Mandich

April 6, 1952- December 13, 2022
 
William “Bill” Mandich passed away suddenly at home in his 71st year. Brother of Steve Mandich (Carole) and Rev. Michael Mandich. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Stephanie Mandich, and his sister, Nancy Lott (John). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, as well as his many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Bill enjoyed the simple things in life, like sipping coffee at his favourite restaurant while chatting with friends, visiting local breweries, attending baseball games, and catching up with family over beers. He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed making people laugh with his many jokes and interesting stories. He was an avid collector of baseball and hockey cards, and made the news for his extensive collection of beer bottles, cans and memorabilia. His charisma and unique personality will be remembered and missed.

Cremation has already taken place. A private family interment at Woodland Cemetery and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or simply raising a glass and enjoying a beer in his honour would be appreciated.
