Obituary of Dennis Pickersgill

Dennis died peacefully at age 81 on Monday June 13 at University Hospital, with his wife and daughter at his side.

Will be forever loved and missed by Margaret his wife and best friend for 58 years, daughter and son-in-law Janis and Ken Doran, grandchildren Zoe, Keegan (Alissa) and Kayla (Ethan) and 3 great-grandchildren Athena, Rowan and Ella.

Dennis emigrated from England with his young family in 1969.

He spent most of his working life at Victoria Hospital as an electrician and in Biomedical Engineering.

He loved sports and played baseball, hockey and golf and was a die hard fan of the Maple Leafs and Leeds United FC.

Most of all he loved his family and has left us with many special memories.

Also lovingly remembered by family in England and his B.F.F. Keith and Pat Morley.

Thank you to the doctors and nurses at UH for their kind care and compassion shown to Dennis and family.
