Suzanne Hatchard
April 18: 1950 - Feb 28,2022
Suzanne’s 34 year courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease has ended. She has gone to be with our Lord where God “shall wipe every tear ……no more death or mourning or crying or pain for the old order of things has passed away.” Lovingly always remembered by husband Gary, son Scott (Cindy) Owen Sound and daughters Stephanie Chilliwack B.C. and Amanda of London. Suzanne was blessed to see her children's children, Griffin 6, Benjamin 5 and Grace 2. She loved hiking the Bruce Trail, travel, camping, & the years spent at her Cottage on Lake Huron. Suzanne was an RN, & proud of daughter Amanda becoming an RN as well, currently at Victoria Hospital CCTC. Suzanne worked in hospitals in Windsor, St John N.B., Ottawa, Brampton and London. She finished her career as Movement Disorders Nurse Clinician for the London Movement Disorders Clinic. Suzanne started the Parkinson’s Resource Centre in London which became The Parkinson Society of S.W. Ontario and started the Young Onset Parkinson Support Group as well, currently the active London Support Group. Suzanne touched and helped the lives of so many.
A private Funeral Mass is planned. A Celebration of Suzanne’s Life will be held Sunday June 12, 2 pm at the Coventry Walk Recreation Centre, 2025 Meadowgate Blvd, London.
Memorial Donations to the Parkinsons Society - Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated by the family in memory of Suzanne.
