Obituary of James Vernon Wilson

WILSON, James (Jim) Vernon – It is with great sadness that the family of Jim Wilson announces his passing in the morning, at home, on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018. Jim will be missed by his wife Sandi Wilson and mother Sophie Wilson. Loving father of Jamie (Casey Gardner) Fitt, Corrie (Louise Heystead) Fitt, Tiffany Perriam, Faith (Dean Couttenier) Fitt-Wilson, and Cassandra Perriam. Jim is also survived by his siblings Larry Wilson, Lynn Cox, and Fred Wilson. Predeceased by father Fred Wilson.

Jim was a deeply caring, compassionate, and intelligent person with a huge sense of humour in tow. He enjoyed teaching others whether it was with his 30+ years of IT experience or with life's greatest lessons. To further his career, Jim went back to school, in his spare time, to obtain his MBA and he graduated with honours from Athabasca University in 2011. He spent the last 5 years working as the Chief Information Officer at St. Thomas Elgin Hospital, and prior to that he worked at Middlesex Hospital Alliance.

A celebration of Jim's life will be held at the Ukrainian Club, 247 Adelaide St S, London on May 17th from 7 pm to 9 pm.
