We are deeply saddened by the untimely death of Noreen, mother of our daughter-in-law Marcy and grandmother of Olive and Zoe. She raised a good daughter, and she was always kind to her son-in-law and his family.
We are truly sorry for your loss. Please accept our condolences.

I am Noreen's youngest sister, and I am saddened that we lost so many years by not communicating since our Mother passed away. I thank Allison and Marcy from the bottom of my heart for letting me know that her time on Earth was coming to a close. I was able to make the trip from Texas (near Dallas), with my only son Colin, in time to make peace and say goodbye.
Noreen was great with kids and raised three wonderful children, and a few others that she babysat along the way. I'm sure she was as good with her six grandchildren and will be missed allot by them.
She always loved to have fun and even in hardship could find something to laugh at.
She put up a long, strong fight, but it was time for her to go to a place with no pain and suffering.
May all of the family find solace in their fond memories, and knowing she is in a better place.

I was so sorry to hear of Noreen's passing.....having known her & the family for such a long time....
Fortunate to have been in touch over these last years...she kept me up to date on family & grands....she was so proud of all!!!
Know that I am thinking of you at this very sad time.....remembering 'the good times'....
Life was not kind to her...
She fought 'the good fight'!

First I send my sympathy to the family. Noreen was an awesome, positive, friendly, kind lady. We loved having Noreen in our Hospice group and she so enjoyed coming. I remember once when her driver was late and she was crying when she came in because she thought she was missing group she was so upset. In no time she was her positive self again. I was blessed to have met your Mom and have her in my life even tho it was for a short time. She was a fighter and fought the fight. We miss Noreen and her positive attitude and big smile. She was so proud off her family. My thoughts are with you all at this very difficult time.

Whatever amount of time, be it long or short, we are given with people on this earth, it is never quite enough time. Even when we know the end is coming, it doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye or go on without them after they have left us.
The day that your mom leaves this world is a strange day indeed. The life force that created you and knew you before you were even part of this world is suddenly gone. The constant in your life and the centre of the sundial of your minutes, hours, days and years that has always been there to measure the time by, gone. Being a mom myself, I finally understand just how incredibly much my mom loved me and I can only hope that I loved her back enough to match that love.
