Obituary of Sandra Maddock

MADDOCK, Sandra (Sandy) passed away peacefully on November 04, 2017 in London at the age of 74 after a truly courageous battle with cancer. Sandra was a beloved mother, grandma, aunt, and friend. Missing her deeply are her son Michael and family (Robin, Catherine and Isabel), nieces Cindy, Lisa (Jay), Tracy (Troy), close friends the Ruseffs and Abdallahs among many others.  Predeceased by parents Margaret and George Palmer of Windsor she joins her mother, whom she cherished, in the eternal garden. A proud, independent, strong woman and single mother Sandra lived her life with determination, an unwavering work ethic, laughter and love. Many benefited from her experience, pragmatism and her drive to see them succeed in life. A very special thanks to the medical staff at Victoria Hospital, nurse Cathy and the VON ~ while she fought her battle they gave her hope and when the battle was lost they gave her dignity.  To help us commemorate Sandra’s life we will be holding a celebration in her honour Sunday, November 12 from 1-3pm at the Berkshire Club, 500 Berkshire Drive in London, ON.  In lieu of flowers please take a moment to donate to www.von.ca/en/donate-now or www.cancer.ca/en/donate Cremation has already taken place.
