Dorothy J. Fagan

June 14, 1929 - November 25, 2025

It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Dorothy Fagan (nee Earle) who passed away peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by, and will be greatly missed by her brother Gerald Earle and her three daughters, Daphne Buono, Deborah Carver (Kenny), and Peggy Fagan. Dorothy was predeceased by her sister Elaine Burke and two of her daughters, Cindy Fagan and Jocelyn Buckley, who also remain dear in our hearts.

Dorothy had the great fortune of watching her five grandchildren (Stephanie, Joey, Jessica, Zachary and Dario) achieve adulthood, and was blessed with five great grandchildren.

Born in Cornwall, Dorothy was a proud graduate of Brescia College, in London Ontario. She then made a life for herself in Montreal where she raised her five children and eventually became a renowned Bridge Instructor, Director and Life Master. Dorothy’s wit, wisdom, intelligence and caring manner affected countless lives! She had many long term friendships that spanned decades. Later in life Dorothy happily returned to live in the city of her alma mater, where most of her children resided. She continued to forge new relationships with her special warmth and humour.

Our greatest appreciation goes to mom’s countless caregivers, including Christa Clark and the staff of ‘At Your Service for Seniors’. We are also extremely grateful to the amazing staff of Strathmere Lodge. We thank you all for the love and support you have given mom and our families.

As per Dorothy’s wishes, a private gathering of immediate family will take place.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Dorothy’s memory are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the London Humane Society.
